Review: The good about Unidentified is that it breaks out of the
traditional Christian chains of apocalyptic film (though only partially) and attempts
to create a real science fiction film. Sadly, the film fails drastically. The science
fiction aspect is lost in its preachiness and blatant evangelicalism. Not that there
is anything wrong with the voicing of the evangelical belief, but one finds that
many movies effectively propose controversial beliefs without insulting its viewers.
This film is sure to be offensive to almost anyone except the evangelical Christian,
and even to many within this circle. Add to this that the script is somewhat weak,
the acting is low-tv quality, and the special effects are absent and one finds a
film that only the most hard-core viewers will want to struggle through.
