Synopsis: A woman in love with a chaplain is heartbroke when he
leaves for the Korean War, but is faithful to him always - until she hears of his
death. Seeking to move on she marries another man who has long loved her only
to discover that her lifelong lover has not died, but is in fact returning.
Review: RHI delivers another half-hearted, for-TV film that disappoints.
While the essence of the story itself is interesting (a woman with the moral/emotional
dilemma of falling in love with one man and marrying another) the translation into
film is agonizing. The acting feels stilted, the sets and costumes feel artificial,
the dialogue is painful. I'm surprised Dallas Jenkins allowed his name to be associated
with the film.
Theatrical Release: None.
DVD Release: Currently Available.
