Company Notes: Namesake is one of the few Christian companies that
delivers repeatedly quality films. Starting off with Every Mother's Worst Fear,
a film about the American sex slave trade Namesake has been a steadfast post for
quality entertainment thats sensitive to the concerns of families. They took a big
misstep in their conjunction with Cloud Ten Pictures for the original Left Behind,
but have since distanced themselves from that film franchise and have gone on to
produce several other excellent films - such as The Visitation and Hangman's Curse.
They work sometimes with Signal Hill Pictures, another excellent Christian film
company, Fox (yes, the big one), authors Frank Peretti and Ted Dekker, as well as
with experienced film veterans Bobby Henson and Ralph Winters.
